To begin, I want to express how much I love feral cat DPS. Especially when coordinated effectively. Theres really not much that is critical to DPS Rotations and stats, but Prioritizing Stats as well! Take a look below for useful information to Feral Cat DPS. For more info on tanking and tips; Message Unnuck!
To begin, lets start with Hit:
- 142 is the total amount of Hit Rating needed to reduce your chance to miss against raid bosses to zero. Above 142, adding more Hit Rating does nothing for you whatsoever.
Expertise:
- 91 is the amount of Expertise Rating you would need to reduce the chance of an attack being Parried or Dodged by 5.75%. Currently, it is believed that level 73 raid bosses have a base 5.6%. Both Hit and Expertise go hand in hand. Less misses and dodges means more damage maximization. More importantly standing behind all bosses and targets reduced their chance to dodge, block, or Parry.
- At level 70, for every 1 point you have in Expertise, your attacks have 0.25% less chance to be Parried and 0.25% less chance to be Dodged. 4 points of Expertise gets you 1%.
For every 3.94 points of Expertise Rating you have equipped on your gear, you gain 1 point in Expertise.
So it takes 15.77 equipped Expertise Rating to reduce the chance your attacks will be Parried or Dodged by 1%.
***** MISC ***** As a further consideration, some enemies, on a successful Parry, hasten the speed of their next swing by 40%. Reducing your chance to have your attacks Parried lessens your risk of suffering more frequent burst damage! More importantly activating a 5 Point Rip, 1 Point Rake; while Tigers Fury is active significantly improves damage from bleed ticks.
Statistic Prioritization:
HIT RATING > AGILITY > CRITICAL STRIKE > ATTACK POWER > EXPERTISE > HASTE > STRENGTH
- Strength = 2.266 (2.49) AP
- Agility = 1.133 (1.25) AP, 1% crit per ~25 agility (1% crit per ~22 agility).
- Critical Strike Rating = ~1% crit per 22.1 critical strike rating.
- Hit Rating = 1% hit per ~15.8 hit rating [You need ~9% hit to become hit capped, so ~142 hit rating total]
- Attack Power = 1.1 AP
