I'd like to see what y'all think about trying a different strategy with Fankriss. This is what I remember doing on retail (though, I understand this is in fact not retail har har).
I recall Fankriss is supposed to put a DoT that stacks on the tank which I don't think is happening on here (or is it?). Without that DoT, we don't need to swap tanks. Notice that we've never wiped on Fankriss due to a MT death, which I imagine we can interpret as this not being a fight that needs to be rushed.
Rather than kiting the worms, we can just bomb them as they spawn. Remember, we don't need to rush this fight - the MT dying or healers running out of mana hasn't been the deciding factor - it's been the worms! I think ALL of our DPS, both ranged and melee, should get on the worms as they spawn. We're still all going to be stacked in one spot so we'll know where they're going to head to. This might raise the objection that losing our melee DPS for the few seconds it takes to switch back and forth will really hurt us - I think we can afford it. Again, healers/casters getting mugged by worms is our problem, not mana or MT deaths. Think of it as similar to Skeram except we have mobs with less HP popping more frequently.
As for the smaller bugs, I think our current strategy of chain fear then AoE is working though we need to be more systematic about calling out when to AoE - I recommend delegating this task to Datoneguy. I don't remember or know what to do about players being ported and cocooned. Does someone else have some insight?
I imagine us having a lot better chance being successful by taking the fight slow and killing what's been killing us.
